A Mirage 2000 of No. 7 Squadron ("Battleaxes")

This fly-by-wire delta winged aircraft is used as a prime defence aircraft by the IAF. It has excellent manoeuvrability and sophisticated sensors with a definite multi-role mission capability. It gives the IAF a beyond-visual-range (BVR) reach with its advanced medium range air-to-air missiles.
